| | | Schubert - Piano Works
The earlier A major sonata, published after Schubert’s death, was composed early in the
composers career, in 1819, the same year as the famous Trout Quintet. The youthful exuberance
of the score is in stark contrast to the later dreamier tones of the A minor sonata composed in
1825. Ingrid Marsoner has made a specialty of playing the Schubert sonatas during her highly
successful career on the concert platform. |
