 The Salzburg Festival, one of the world's most renowned festivals, was in this Mozart year 2006 the scene of perhaps the most daring and outstanding achievement in both operatic as well as classical audio-visual history. In collaboration with Unitel, Deutsche Grammophon, Decca and TDK, the Salzburg Festival staged new productions of all 22 of Mozart's staged works including operas, singspiele, and scenic fragments all of which were filmed for television broadcast and video release. |
