Gerhard Taschner (violin) Gerhard Taschner dazzled the Viennese public at the age of thirteen and later became the
youngest concertmaster of Wilhelm Furtwängler’s Berlin Philharmonic. There are very few
recordings of this violin virtuoso but those that do survive demonstrate to us that Taschner was a
remarkable talent. |
