Georg Kulenkampff (b1898-d1948) was one of the best-known virtuosi of the 1930s and 1940s. Here he plays violin concertos by Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Schumann, Tchaikovsky and Bruch. Recorded between 1935 and 1941 with the Berliner Philharmonic and Orchestra of the Stateopera Berlin with Isserstedt, Keilberth, Jochum and Rother conducting.
